Becoming and remaining a whole person who is walking in his/her righteousness is key to being available and effective for God. The purpose of the single's ministry at ECC is to assist the singles in realizing the necessity of being whole and developing a Word based plan as to how to become and remain that way. Single's ministry does not focus only marital preparation, but rather equips the single Christian with the skills to reach full spiritual maturity.

• Being single allows time to fully enjoy ones salvation (soteria) in a uniquely personal way, that facilitates a giving and receiving with God. This fellowship is fundamental to living in the manner that God intended.
• Being single promotes an intimacy with God that is fundamental to a lifestyle of joy, peace, financial stability, social success and ministry effectiveness.
• Being single encourages ones total dependency on the Word to fill any void in life. It also helps one to obtain any Word based desires.
• Being single is an opportunity to mature as a Christian man or woman to a level of completeness. This level of maturity is the Christian prerequisite for marriage

  A believer's success in life is directly related to their relationship with God

  A renewed mind is a valuable tool for successful living as a believer
