The Singles Ministry Confession
I am the righteousness of God; therefore I have the expectation to
receive according to the Word of God. I am what God says I am, I have
what God says I can have, I do what God says I can do. Therefore I
declare that I am whole, spirit, soul and body. My reply is always "be
it unto me according to thy word."
- I am whole and complete.
- It is an honor to be single, and to serve God in a very personal way.
- I am available to serve God through my church and ministry.
- My body is the temple of God, and is therefore reserved for uses
that only honor Him. I do not fornicate or lend my body to be used for
the pleasures of sin.
- My attitude is daily renewed by the Word of God. I am not bound by my old way of thinking. I have the right to change.
- I am not dependent on someone else's opinion to make me feel whole,
but rather, I see myself only as the Word describes me. At anytime that
I see the Word, hear the Word, and understand the Word, I have the
right to be changed into that Word.
- I am in control of how I react to my emotions. I am committed to being governed by the Word of God and not by "how I feel".
- I am full of joy and live in expectation of receiving what God has promised.
- I am happy with who I am in God and excited about who I am
becoming. My appearance, my demeanor, and my self- imagine are all
satisfying to me, because I am submitted to the Word of God.
- I am not defined by the expectations and standards of society. I
was designed to be different. My definition is based exclusively on the
Word of God.
- I am a sign and a wonder. I am wonderful.
